I have been doing quite a bit of shopping lately. I think since I had put myself on a shopping diet to prepare for the wedding, I'm now rebelling against saving. Granted, old habits die hard -- I still can't help but look for deals and the best price on things -- but I have been picking up items left and right lately. I have half a closet of things y'all haven't even seen!

Normally I would run screaming from a sweater like that, but your outfit really works! And I just requested an invitation to Pinterest. It looks like a great way to figure out my summer looks - this outfit planning thing is new for me, but I'm sick of having a closet full of pieces that don't go together!
ReplyDelete@ingrid: before i fell into blog-land, i would have run away from it too! these days, my rule is almost more along the lines of: find something bat-crap crazy (patterns, color combos, cuts, etc) and TRY IT. try the things i think WONT work. if it doesnt, no loss. but sometimes, it turns out, it DOES work! and then you look amazing. :) i now try to do this both when shopping as well as when putting together outfits in my closet.
ReplyDeleteAh! Want! All of it. Actually just the cardi - I have all the other pieces to make it work.
ReplyDeleteTeal + orange = fabulous! You look fantastic.
